Introduction
The community from Crossmore and Ekupholeni informal settlements based in Chatsworth hosted the workshop. The workshop focussed on the developmental issues such as housing, electricity and water as this community do not enjoy such basic services.
The Centre for Civil Society through its Outreach Desk enabled the community members to host this workshop through various support.
Workshop programme:-
Aims:
To share information as part of awareness campaign pertaining contemporary social issues that affect community.
To understand issues surrounding land and poverty reduction strategies.
To understand contemporary community struggles: land, poverty, water and energy/ electricity.
