Topic: Habitat III - United Nations Conference on Housing and Sustainable Urban Development was held in Ecuador in October 2016. A number of resolutions were passed regarding housing and sustainable development in inner cities. How are these resolutions applicable to issues of land, housing and sanitation in South Africa?

Speaker Bio: Bandile Mdlalose is a CCS Community Scholar. She was the Former General Secretary of Abahlali baseMjondolo, President of the Community Justice Movement and KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Coordinator of the Black First Land First Movement.
