A POWERFUL FILM ON THE UNTOLD STORY OF CUBA’S SUPPORT FOR AFRICAN INDEPENDENCE.
From Che Guevara's military campaign to avenge Lumumba in the Congo, to the triumphant battle of Cuito Cuarnavale in Angola that led to the fall of apartheid in South Africa, more than 300,000 Cubans fought alongside African revolutionaries against colonialism, capitalism, and communism as the newly independent nations attempted for the first time to gain real control of their own countries.
With rare footage of Che Guevara in Africa and Mandela in Cuba.
