This seminar will present the CCS research on protest in the BRICS countries South Africa, India and Brazil. It draws on material from the SA protest observatory: https://ccs.ukzn.ac.za/default.asp?2,27,3,1858 going back to 2009 as well as more recent material from India and Brazil https://ccs.ukzn.ac.za/default.asp?6,35 The intention is to encourage the interest of other researchers & hopefully lead to co-operation in the publication of a paper on this topic.
