The Centre for Civil Society (CCS), School of Built Environment and Development Studies (SOBEDS), University of KwaZulu-Natal is seeking MA students to conduct an election poll in Cato Manor, Durban on Election Day – 8 May 2019

Successful applicants will be remunerated and required to undertake a short survey with voters exiting the voting station using a PDA. They will also be expected to attend a training session on exit polling prior to Election Day.

Applicants should be registered MA students within SOBEDS and are required to submit applications in the form of a cover letter to Melanie Reddy (Reddys2@ukzn.ac.za).

The cover letter should outline the following (a) full name, contact, student number and degree registered for (b) any fieldwork experience (b) reasons for interest in being part of the exit poll team.
