Philisiwe Precious Mazibuko is a one of the youngest activists at Right 2 Know, who are passionate about Access to information, media freedom and diversity and other matters the r2k works on. She lives in a small south Durban community of Wentworth where she began her activism in environmental justice for the youth and community.
Philisiwe is part of other organisations in the civil society space and activism circle such as Durban South Community Peace Builder, African Solidarity Network (ASONET) and the South Durban Community Environmental Alliance (SDCEA). As a community scholar she does lots of work in organising and mobilising communities behind the important causes crucial for them to be full and active members of society.
Philisiwe sees herself as an African feminist and activist for life.
