 One Year Appointment – Renewable Subject to Funding
The Centre for Civil Society (CCS) aims to advance socioeconomic and environmental justice by developing critical knowledge about, for and in dialogue with civil society through teaching, research and publishing. The Seminar and Media Coordinator will be responsible for planning and coordinating the CCS Seminar and Documentary Series. The Coordinator will also be responsible for managing CCS social media and the YouTube channel. It is expected that the incumbent has a working knowledge and interest in South African civil society.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience with coordinating seminar series
• Experience with managing YouTube channels
• Experience with managing Facebook, Instagram and Twitter platforms
• An interest in the workings and impact of civil society in South Africa through demonstrated research, activism or cultural applications
• A degree in Development Studies

The post is a part time one and can be undertaken remotely although the incumbent will be expected to be present at CCS when required. Post graduate students are encouraged to apply.
